How to move up in weight at a local tournament

If you want to move up a weight at a local tournament:

Print in ALL CAPS in VERY LARGE letters at the TOP of the
weigh in card: (legibly please)

MOVE UP TO 85 (weight class you want to wrestle)

This must be written on the weigh in card before weigh ins or at weigh
ins.  Same procedure for both pre-registration and non pre-registration cards.

No moving up after weigh ins.

Pairing officials will combine 2 weights together to make the most matches
for wrestlers - except at any State Championships.  This is done without
parental / coach permission and is within the guidelines.

Pairing officials will combine weights to allow wrestlers opportunity (i.e.
2 wrestlers at 60 lb., 1 wrestler at 65 lb., 1 wrestler at 70 lb. - The
pairing officials will normally combine the 65 & 70 group to give the 70 lb.
Wrestler a match, thus leaving the 60 lb. Group with 2 wrestlers and a
combined 65-70 lb. Group with 2 wrestlers).
