IMPORTANT *** WSWA Event Pre-Registration Links and Info for 2009-2010 Folkstyle
Season.
Clubs, Parents, Coaches, Wrestlers and Officials,
Event Pre-Registration Information:
You must wrestle for a sanctioned WSWA club or you will be changed to
Unattached.
The following WSWA events have been set up for pre-registration online for the
2009-2010 Folkstyle season. This is NOT pre-pay - you pay at the event. This
does not mean you have to make the weight you register. Your weight will be
changed automatically after you weigh in to the correct weight class. If you
want to move a weight class, this must be declared at the scales. NO movement of
weight classes after you leave the weigh in area.
Pre-registering for the event allows a smoother flowing tournament so you will
see the price increase at the door if you don't pre-register.
Do not wait until Friday
. Or even Thursday if you are still thinking about it.
The pre-registration program has gone down in the past and could again.
All State Championships are Mandatory Pre-Registration No Walk Ins at the door
No exceptions.
Don't wait until the last minute to register. Register now even if you are
unsure of attending. There is no penalty for not showing up. A push of the
button removes all wrestlers who did not weigh in. If you would like your name
removed from the pre-registration, e-mail me and I will remove it.
Make sure you complete all screens in the registration process or your
registration will not be complete and you will not show up on the list. A list
of weight classes with the number of registered athletes is available for
viewing. Click on the matrix link to view on one of the links below.
When you click on the link below, to pre-register, you click on the flashing
button that says "Register Now".
This
year, you must have already purchased a USA Card in order for your
pre-registration for events to complete the process.

Registration will close at the stated times. After that, you will be required to
register at the door at the higher price. Note the times are in Central Standard
time (this is a 2 hour time difference from Pacific Standard Time).
Coaches cards will NOT be sold at WSWA events this year. You must purchase them
online prior to the event and also submit a background screening. Information
regarding that is on the WSWA website link above. The process can take 1 to over
30 days to complete so coaches need to start getting them now.

Coaching Information:
You must have the following to coach at any local WSWA event in Washington:
1) A current USAW Coaches card
2) A background screening which has come back approved
You will not be allowed on the floor without all of these items. If you cannot
print your coaches card after purchasing it, you probably have not completed
your required background screening. Without those items, you will not get a
coaching pass to gain access to the floor.
The floor will be under strict enforcement and only 2 coaches will be allowed in
the corner (one of those 2 coaches can film or take pictures). All spectators
need to remain in the stands. Security will be in place to ensure only coaches
and athletes are allowed into the wrestling area.
No Coaches cards will be sold at any WSWA event to Washington residents, so you
must have your card and background screening prior to arriving.
Checking to see if you are registered to wrestle:
You can check the list by going back to the event page where the blinking
red/black button is and clicking on the Wrestler List Button and searching on
the wrestlers name.
If your wrestlers are not on the list, they are not completely registered and
you need to complete all the screens.
