The Spring General Membership meeting has been cancelled The Spring General Membership meeting has been cancelled. All business will be conducted at the Fall General Membership meeting on August 29th, 2009 in Ellensburg. Those clubs who have bid on State Championship events for the 2009-2010 season will present their bids at the meeting in August to be voted on by all clubs in attendance. All clubs in those regions that the events are to be held have until 60 days prior (June 30th, 2009) to the Fall meeting to put a bid in on those events. If no one bids by that date, the bidding process will be opened up to other regions. If you are interested in bidding for any of these events, you need to send me an e-mail prior to the cut off date. The current bids are posted on the WSWA website http://www.washingtonstatewrestling.com The Fall General meeting in August is mandatory per our by-laws to conduct business. There is no Spring meeting mentioned in our by-laws so it is not a required meeting of the Washington State Wrestling Association. For the past several years, there has been no interest in clubs to attend the meeting so we will conduct all our business at the Fall General Membership meeting where there are more clubs who have an interest in the business of our association. An agenda for the Fall General Membership meeting to be held at noon on August 29th, 2009 at the Hal Holmes Community Center in Ellensburg will be sent out via e-mail prior to the meeting.
